Tree envy—and angst—in downtown Pelican

City Administrator Lance Roisum presented a drawing of the revised downtown plan, which included eleven trees between the roundabouts made up of Spring Snow Crabapple, River Birch, and Red maples. Three trees have been axed from the most recent drawing, marked with an X. Larger trees, such as Lindens and Honeylocust, and taller varieties of Maples are planned for grass boulevards.
