Park improvements will take shape, following grant to soccer group; local donations

A new tandem swing was installed in E.L. Peterson Park, thanks to a grant the park received from Oktoberfest. It’s called an expression swing, which allows two people to face each other. Pictured, Janet Woolever is swinging with granddaughter Alice Woolever. This unique swing will also be a feature in Thompson Park, thanks to a grant from Blandin.
