The construction zone in red will be off limits during the renovation of the hospital. The area north of the parking lot is currently green space, and Ahlf said it will be disturbed for less than a year. Pelican Valley will be responsible for restoring the area to its current condition and will cover all associated costs. The new lot is expected to be completed in late summer or early fall 2026.
