Students from Pelican Rapids High School traveled to Washington, D.C. with a group of around 40 other students and chaperones from North Dakota and Minnesota this past weekend. The five Pelican youth took a moment to check local headlines in the Pelican Rapids Press. They are pictured at the Lincoln Memorial. From left, Dominic Herdan, Zayne Schulte, Isaiah Ballard, Alayna Schlieman, and Elli Schlieman. The trip was arranged with the World Classrooms organization, based in Aberdeen, SD.
