A community art project in Pelican Rapids invites residents to create Dia de Los Muertos decorations every Friday at 4:30 p.m. throughout October at the public library, culminating in a November 1 celebration.
Participants can decorate jars or cans with provided art supplies, learning about the Mexican holiday that honors deceased loved ones through colorful offerings and symbols like marigolds and sugar skulls.
