Scambler TOWNSHIP NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL Class-5 Aggregate

Scambler Township is issuing a Request for Proposals for Class-5 aggregate base gravel which must meet MnDOT standard specifications and for Class-5 (Modified) gravel, to be delivered to road sites in the township by June, 2024 as directed by township personnel. Class-5 (Modified) crushed gravel with the following MN DOT Spec. revisions: Percent passing the No. 200 sieve changed from 3-10 to 8-15. This binder, minus 200 sieve, shall be clay, not silt or black dirt. Please attach sieve analysis with all proposals. A Certificate of Insurance must be provided. A minimum of $1,000,000 of liability insurance is required.

Note: Some loads of gravel may be randomly sampled or samples may be taken from gravel pile for an independent sieve analysis and randomly selected to be scaled at a nearby certified scale to ensure quality and quantity of gravel being applied to town roads. Scambler Township will not be responsible for any time lost while this sampling occurs.
