PUBLIC NOTICE: The Otter Tail County District Court

The Otter Tail County District Court in Minnesota has issued a notice regarding the estate of Steven A. Dennis, also known as Steven Alfred Dennis or Steve A. Dennis. An application for informal appointment of a personal representative was filed with the Probate Registrar, and no will has been presented for probate. The application has been granted.

Charles Dennis, of PO Box 824, Park Rapids, MN 56470, has been informally appointed as the personal representative of the estate. Any heir, devisee, or interested person may be entitled to appointment as personal representative or may object to the appointment. Unless objections are filed according to Minnesota Statute 524.3-607 and the court orders otherwise, the personal representative has full power to administer the estate. This includes the authority to sell, encumber, lease, or distribute real estate after 30 days from the date of issuance of letters.

The notice also states that, according to Minnesota Statute 524.3-801, all creditors with claims against the estate must present their claims to the personal representative or the court administrator within four months after the date of the notice, or the claims will be barred.

Lea Hippe is the probate registrar and Trisha Mernitz is the court administrator.
