A group from Tamarac Lake escaped Minnesota’s brutal cold by spending a week in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

Dave and Judy Pederson, Terry and Judi Trader, Drew Emanuel, Jamie Bartch, and Kristin Erdmann made the trip with their local newspaper in hand after enduring temperatures far below zero at home.
