Pelican TOWNSHIP NOTICE OF NOTICE OF INVITATION TO BID FOR COMPREHENSIVE ROAD MAINTENANCE

The Township of Pelican hereby invites qualified contractors to submit bids for road maintenance services for the 2026/2027 season. Pelican Township has 37.5 miles of roadway with the majority being gravel. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, road grading, shoulder maintenance, ditch mowing, and snow removal and sanding as needed. 

All work must be performed in accordance with township standards and completed within agreed-upon timelines.

Interested bidders must provide proof of relevant experience, appropriate licensing, and insurance coverage in addition to equipment that will be used.

All bids must be submitted by April 3, 2026 via electronic submission to Bradyballard@yahoo.com and lloyd@pelicanottertailmn.gov or you may mail to Pelican Township, PO Box 873, Pelican Rapids, MN 56572. 

The Town Board will review and select a contractor at the regular meeting on April 14, 2026.

 The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award the contract in the best interest of the community.
