Things were pretty chill at Norwegian Grove Twsp. annual meeting

Norwegian Grove Township held its annual meeting March 10.

There were few surprises and no challengers to the current board. Supervisor Tanner Nelson received 16 votes, Supervisor Andrew Peterson received 16 votes, and Township Clerk Jane Knorr also received 16 votes.

These are typical results you will find in less populated townships.

2025 spending report
Officials presented the 2025 spending report. The beginning balance totaled $271,282.42, income was $134,680.36, expenses were $141,201.50, and the ending balance was $264,761.28.

“No road improvements are planned at this time,” said Township Clerk Jane Knorr.
