PUBLIC NOTICE

A hearing is scheduled for April 21, 2026, at 8:45 a.m. in Otter Tail County District Court in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, regarding the estate of Leonard Zierke Jr. The court will consider a petition for the formal probate of the will and the appointment of Anette M. Zierke of Pelican Rapids as personal representative in an unsupervised administration.
Anyone who wishes to object to the petition must do so at the hearing or file objections with the court before the hearing date. If there are no objections and the petition is found proper, Anette M. Zierke will be given full authority to manage the estate. This includes collecting assets, paying debts, taxes and expenses, selling property, and handling all necessary matters related to the estate.
Creditors with claims against the estate must present their claims to the personal representative or the court within four months of this notice, or the claims will be barred, according to Minnesota law.
The notice was issued on March 6, 2026, by Judge Kevin Miller and Court Administrator Trisha Mernitz. Chad D. Miller of Krekelberg Law in Fergus Falls is the attorney for the petitioner.
