The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is presenting “An Evening with Paul Allen” at Pelican Rapids High School’s Fine Arts Auditorium at 7:00 p.m. on April 11.

Allen is the longtime play-by-play announcer for the Minnesota Vikings on KFAN FM 103.3, a Minneapolis–St. Paul-based syndicated station. He also hosts The Paul Allen Show on weekday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to noon, providing in-depth coverage of the Vikings, including trades, offseason moves, and commentary during the regular season. In addition, Allen calls horse races at Canterbury Park in Shakopee.

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes, of which Allen is a member, is a Christian sports ministry that connects faith and athletics. Its mission is to lead coaches and athletes into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church, often through camps, campus groups, and community outreach. It links coaches and athletes of all sports to grow in their faith through sports.

Allen will be conversing with friend and Pelican Rapids native, Tim Siegle, as the moderator for the event and will take questions from the audience, as time allows.

Music will be provided before the event begins. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Seating is limited to 420 attendees, and admission will be by free-will offering. Funds will go toward sending student athletes to faith-based summer camp.
