Grunewald served as Erhard’s mayor from 1986 to 1994 and again from 1998 to 2006. After sixteen years as mayor of a small town, he’s seen a thing or two. β€œI’d have to break up a few fights now and then. I’d get called in or hear something on the scanner,” said Grunewald. β€œMy standard line was that if you want to fight, you have to go through me first.
