Edgar Galvan, director of Minneapolis- based Ballet Folklorico Mexico Azteca, takes the stage during the International Friendship Festival on June 20. Galvan, whose non-profit was forced to cancel its 17th-anniversary celebration in May due to the climate surrounding immigration enforcement in the Twin Cities, was visibly moved by the opportunity to bring his troupe to Pelican Rapids.
